Max Taylor entered the pool, pond, and water feature industry in 1982 by cleaning water features; from there he expanded into building and remodeling swimming pools. Due to customer demand, he began to design and build ponds, streams, and waterfalls. He also worked for several years as an award winning designer and contractor of backyard ‘retreats’ and has been described more recently by one of his customers as an “Environmental Artist”. His experience of three decades has given him insight of not only what works, but what does not. Taylor currently serves as Executive Vice President of the International Professional Pond Companies Association.
