Dave Jones has spent his life as an outdoorsman, pursuing many hobbies, but ponds have held a special place in his heart for
over 40 years. He is an avid pond, fish, wildlife and plant enthusiast himself. As a result, Dave brings much more to the “table” with him than the average pond builder let alone a landscaper. The Pond Professional is not and never has been a landscape company that dabbles with ponds as a side line. It is a licensed General Contracting company who's primary focus is on Ponds and Waterscapes.
Dave is proud of the fact that he has ranked in the
top 100 installers in the nation with multiple manufacturers simultaneously for the last decade plus. He is also a distributor for Easy Pro, GC Tek, Emperor Aquatics, Shinmaywa pumps, Atlantic Water Gardens, Advantage Pumps, Laguna, WLS, Aquadyne and Winston Pond Products. He has worked on
many different styles of ponds (including earthen and bentonite lined) and is constantly updating his knowledge on a very extensive and diverse variety of equipment in pursuit of both his hobby and his profession. His articles have been published in over 3 dozen pond, water garden and fish industry and hobbyist magazines. Dave is also a frequent contributor to Irrigation and Green Industry New's Waterscaper section.
Dave is currently the only
Certified Professional Pond Contractor (CPPC) and Internationally
Certified Master Pond Contractor (CMPC) in the State of Georgia. He is also one of the Founders and is a Member of the International Professional Pond Contractors Association (IPPCA). Dave frequently gives talks to garden and Koi clubs and teaches educational seminars to fellow professionals in the pond and waterscape industry.
Dave is a fully licensed and insured contractor, with over 25 years of reputable and reliable service in his home market of Atlanta, Georgia. Dave isn’t locked in to just Atlanta, however. He has successfully and repeatedly consulted and resolved problems with ponds both nationally and internationally as a normal part of his business day. Dave is rapidly becoming known as
